With this self portrait, I wanted to continue to explore ways to bring pixilation into my work. When taking my reference photo, I drew lines onto my face to get a sense of the contours. I digitally added more lines to create a wireframe grid pattern and colored them in according to value. I then printed the digital piece and collaged it onto a wood block before painting over it to adjust the colors and add texture.
